Margaret Hoover
Margaret Hoover is an American political commentator, political strategist, media personality, author, and great-granddaughter of President Herbert Hoover, the 31st U.S. President. Hoover is currently host of the PBS interview show Firing Line. Hoover previously worked as the Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for the administration of George W. Bush. She has held numerous positions on Capitol Hill and presidential campaign teams. Hoover is on the Board of Overseers at Stanford University's Hoover Institution, and on the boards of the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library Association and the Belgian American Educational Foundation. Hoover serves on the Advisory Council of The American Foundation for Equal Rights and GOProud.
She has been a frequent guest on Bill Maher's Real Time on HBO, and has appeared on NBC's Today, CBS's The Early Show, ABC's Good Morning America, at MSNBC, Fox News, C-SPAN, and C-SPAN Book TV.
