Nancy Wilkinson

Nancy works across a range of programmes in the Education team to help prepare young people with the skills needed for the future. She is particularly interested in increasing diversity of young people who become innovators and supporting the development of social and emotional learning. She works across practical programmes, research and influencing policy.

Nancy previously worked at the Wellcome Trust as a policy adviser leading on education policy aiming to improve science education in the UK. She also did a secondment at the House of Commons Education Select Committee, working on inquiries including recruitment and retention of teachers and primary assessment. She is vice-chair of a school governing body at a primary school in Tower Hamlets.
