Jeb Bush served as Florida’s 43rd governor, elected in 1998 and re-elected by a wide margin in 2002. He then continued his priority focus on education as Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Excellence in Education - ExcelinEd. Now in its 13th year, ExcelinEd empowers states across the nation in transforming education by improving schools and outcomes for students, helping families gain broad access to education options, ensuring career pathways for all students and reimagining 21st-century models for learning. Governor Bush is a published author, an accomplished business owner and the son of former President George H.W. Bush and Barbara Bush. He and his wife, Columba, live in Miami and are the parents of three children and five grandchildren.
