Erika Guerrero
Erika is a native El Pasoan who first moved to Austin in 2006 and then followed an opportunity into San Antonio in 2011. She is happily married and a mother of two children. By nature, she is highly driven being the oldest of four children, raised by a single mother who subsidized their income by fostering special needs adults and children.. For almost two decades, they provided a therapeutic home setting for over forty high-needs individuals. This is where her passion to be an advocate and support system for individuals with disabilities began. She is dually certified Special Education and Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher. Erika has helped grow Unified Champion Schools Program at Alamo Heights High school for the past five years. Erika has a passion for creating inclusive learning environments that improve the postsecondary quality of life for all students.
