Carolyn Connerat
Carolyn Connerat is Associate Vice Provost of Enrollment Management at The University of Texas at Austin. Carolyn directs Enrollment Analytics to inform strategic data-driven enrollment management decisions using predictive data models and tools to help the university identify and support students from the day they arrive on campus through graduation. She oversees Enrollment Communications to recruit, engage and inform students, parents, and other constituents. She is a member of the university-wide Data Strategy and Management Team and the College to Career Governing Committee. Prior to her current role, Carolyn led UT Austin’s Student Success Initiatives starting in 2013 - a university-wide effort to improve student outcomes which has resulted in significant increases in retention and graduation rates for all students, especially underrepresented and first generation students. She helped build the nationally recognized University Leadership Network (ULN) to support the most at-risk students, and worked with external relations to secure philanthropic funding for ULN scholarships. Carolyn has worked at UT Austin since 2005 and prior to that spent 25 years working in executive management positions.
