Hadley Ferguson
Hadley Ferguson is the Executive Director of the Edcamp Foundation, which is dedicated to spreading the Edcamp model of participant-driven professional development. Under her leadership, the Edcamp Foundation was awarded two grants from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to support the growth of the Edcamp movement. She was a founding organizer of EdcampPhilly, the original Edcamp in 2010, and she served on the founding Board of the Edcamp Foundation. Prior to this, she spent decades in the classroom as a middle school history teacher. She is co-author with Kristen Swanson of Unleashing Student Superpowers: Practical Teaching Strategies for 21st Century Student. She was named a "Teacher of the Future" by NAIS and was a member of the Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources Mentor Advisory group.
