Calder Kamin

Artist, educator and advocate, Calder Kamin transforms trash into beautifully crafted creatures and opportunities to engage a new generation of creative problem solvers. Nature’s endless ability to reuse and adapt inspires her to eliminate waste and reimagine it as art. Kamin has a background in art administration, higher education and city government providing professional development for artists. She is the 2018 Artist-in-Residence at the San Antonio DoSeum and the Career Services Manager for the University of Texas College of Fine Arts.
