Debra Serebrin is director of marketing for Cartoon Network. Serebrin directs ad, affiliate and licensing trade marketing. She also leads the long-term planning and partnership development for Cartoon Network’s commitment to engaging kids at the intersection of Creativity and Technology in addition to its’ pro-social initiative, Stop Bullying: Speak Up, a bullying prevention platform. Additionally, Serebrin supports consumer insights and various strategic initiatives across the entire Cartoon Network portfolio. Serebrin is based in Atlanta and reports to Jill King, senior vice president, marketing and partnerships for Cartoon Network, Adult Swim and Boomerang.
A twelve-year veteran of Turner, Serebrin most recently served as global franchise senior manager for Cartoon Network from 2014-2016, where she was responsible for building the global strategic franchise plans to drive long-term business results. In this role, Serebrin created plans based on each individual franchise brand strategy and managed the on-going communication of franchise-related information. Before that, she rose through the ranks at Turner Sports, serving as strategy communications manager, assistant marketing manager and marketing coordinator.
