Caitlyn Caruso

Caitlyn Caruso (they/she), 21, is a young queer femme activist majoring in Gender and Sexuality Studies at University of Nevada Las Vegas. Currently, she is a Reproductive Rights Activist Service Corp intern with Advocates for Youth. Caitlyn has had the great opportunity of getting to open for Vice President Joe Biden at two different events – one highlighting the It’s On Us campaign and the other highlighting gun violence prevention work at a national summit. Caitlyn’s work has received national attention including a spotlight on The Daily Show featuring her community’s work around comprehensive sexual education. Caitlyn dreams of becoming a maternal/reproductive health care provider and opening her own non-profit focused on providing resources, education, and a safe haven for housing-insecure LGBTQ youth and youth of color.
