Emily Reardon

Emily Reardon an Emmy Award-winning user experience designer who specializes in emergent technologies for playful learning. She is currently the Director of User Experience for Digital Production at Sesame Workshop, the not-for-profit organization behind Sesame Street. Prior to that she was the Director of Design Strategy in the Workshop's Content Innovation Lab, a small research and development team devoted to exploring emergent technology and new ways for children and families to play and learn. Reardon is also an Adjunct Professor at New York University’s Graduate School of Education, where she teaches courses on the topic of technology design for learning, with a special focus on the role of narrative in learning. She has also worked at the School of Visual Arts where she taught Narrative Workshop, an undergraduate foundation course. Reardon holds a BA from Brown University, and a MA from New York University.
