Director
CU Science Discovery, University of Colorado Boulder

Dr. Stacey Forsyth is the director of CU Science Discovery, a K-12 STEM education outreach organization at the University of Colorado Boulder, and co-PI of two NSF-funded STEM education projects - Imagine AI, which supports teens in exploring ethical issues related to AI, and the Build a Better Book project, which engages youth in the design and fabrication of accessible books for children who are blind or visually impaired. In her role, she oversees a suite of informal STEM education programs for K-12 students and teachers, including summer and after-school STEM classes, in-school programs, teacher professional development workshops and community outreach programs. She is particularly passionate about inspiring and supporting curious kids to ask questions and find creative solutions to address different problems, and in diversifying the future STEM workforce by expanding opportunities for youth to explore a range of STEM fields.
