Sabrina Phillips
Sabrina is the Museum Educator for School and Teacher Programs at the Blanton Museum of Art. She oversees and develops the curriculum and educational resources for the Blanton’s PK-12 programs, which serve more than 13,000 students and teachers annually. She has a Masters in Art History and a Post Graduate Certification in Upper Primary Education that she uses to create meaningful connections between educational programs and the museum collection. In addition to her academic work, Sabrina is a UK trained classroom teacher, with 10 years of experience teaching 5th and 6th grade in England, Egypt, Qatar, and Thailand. Her international teaching experience is an asset to engage Austin’s diverse community and establish an inclusive environment.
