Ben Kutylo leads the Fremont Street Fund, a national nonprofit foundation launched in 2017, focused on catalyzing educator-led innovation in public schools.

Before the Fremont Street Fund, Ben spent two years as the VP of Strategic Partnerships at eSpark Learning, a Chicago-based digital learning company. There, Ben led Customer Success and also built the company’s first strategic account management function.

Prior to eSpark, Ben was the Director of Program Investments for The Chicago Public Education Fund. Under Ben’s leadership, The Fund launched its Innovative Educator Network in 2013. The Network unites talented educators and invests in schools and organizations committed to rethinking the use of resources such as time, technology and talent to transform student learning.

Before transitioning into education, Ben spent nearly ten years in roles ranging from developer to business development for multiple technology companies including Sun Microsystems and Transora.
