Patricia Crain de Galarce
Dr. Patricia Crain de Galarce is Associate Dean in the Graduate School of Education and Director of the Center for Inclusive and Special Education at Lesley University. Patricia began her career over thirty-five years ago, as an elementary, bilingual and special education teacher. She has taught almost every grade level from young children to graduate students in along the US east coast and in South America. Patricia led Stokes School, a dual language immersion elementary school in Washington, DC, as the director of education/principal for 12 years. She served as DC's Lead Clinical Faculty for the Urban Teacher Center. Patricia earned her Masters in intercultural relations, CAGS in education administration, and a Doctorate in education leadership. She supports educators in developing trauma-sensitive, inclusive, and culturally / linguistically relevant learning environments.
