Hsiao-Ping Hsu
Hsiao-Ping Hsu is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Texas, Austin, Texas, USA. His research focuses on digital literacy education, educational applications of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), and geospatial technologies in geographic education. He has published two research articles and presented more them ten papers at research and practitioner conferences in USA and Taiwan. He recently led an international team of practitioners and researchers, mentored by Dr. Hughes, in an AR curriculum project for elementary and middle school students. The team won a Bronze Award in the Virtual/Augmented Reality category at 2017 Reimagine Education Award, organized by the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania and Quacquarelli & Symonds. He is a big fan of traveling with miles, points and credit card perks.
