11th Grade Student
Community Charter School of Cambridge

I am 16 years old and live in Cambridge, Massachusetts. For the past four years I have been attending the Community Charter School of Cambridge. It is a small school of only around 400 students, but it is the fact that it is so small that helps me and every student do well. Throughout these four years I’ve grown as a student, an athlete, and most recently as an activist. Each year my yearly GPA has kept rising--this year to a 3.9. I am a captain on the varsity track team and also play varsity soccer. I am also building an apparel business with two other classmates as part of the Possible Project which supports teen entrepreneurs. This summer I am working at Camp Big Adventure at the Morse Community School with elementary school students.
