Chassidy Green
Dr. Chassidy Green, a native Texan, grew up a child with adverse experiences. Both of her parents suffered from substance abuse disorders. Despite a challenging upbringing Chassidy attended The University of Texas at Austin and received her Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology in 2005. After obtaining her bachelors degree she completed her Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Texas State University in 2007. She earned a Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in from Texas Wesleyan University in 2013. Dr. Green has worked as a math teacher, district curriculum coordinator and school administrator. In addition to working in Texas public schools for more than 10 years Dr. Green works as a development consultant for schools and entrepreneurs. In 2018 she wrote a book about her experiences as a child growing up in adverse circumstance and founded a nonprofit organization to help children living in homes where addiction is present.
