Nate McClennen
Nate McClennen is Vice President at Getting Smart, where he thinks strategically about education innovation, emerging school networks, codifying learning models and scaling thought leadership and implementation of place-based learning. Nate previously served as Head of Innovation at the Teton Science Schools (TSS), a nationally-renowned leader in place-based education, and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Rural Schools Collaborative. Nate helped to found and lead an innovative PK-12 school; taught math, science, and robotics at the K-12 level; and consulted with schools and organizations nationally and internationally. Through his work at TSS, Nate created the Place Network, a group of rural public schools sharing a next-generation learning model.
