Joseph Caldwell

Dr. Joseph Caldwell currently serves as the President of the Memphis College of Urban and Theological Studies in Memphis, TN. MCUTS is an open access Higher Education institution offering regionally accredited degrees via a partnership with another educational institution. MCUTS primary mission is to use college access to improve the lives of Memphis' poorest citizens. Dr. Caldwell as served in faculty roles and in enrollment management. He also served this year as the chairmen of the Memphis Teach-In an academic conference focused on Civil Rights that was part of the MLK50 Commemoration. I currently serves on the educational equity task force for MICAH a community organizing group working on civil rights issues in Memphis.
