Andrew Rice
Andrew is the Executive Vice President of Research and Operations at and co-founder of Education Analytics. Andrew leads EA's data science and technical division, oversees EA's work as the analytics partner to the CORE Districts, and advises on the broad policy implications of EA’s work. He specializes in data science, data-driven continuous improvement, economics of education, and applied topics in labor economics. He has worked with school districts, state agencies, institutions of higher education, and national unions to develop, implement, and continuously improve rigorous analytics that support leaders, teachers, and students. Prior to co-founding EA in 2013, Andrew served as the Associate Director of UW-Madison's Value-Added Research Center from 2010-2014. Andrew received a PhD in Economics from Penn State University in 2010 and a B.S. in Economics from Penn State in 2003.
