Lana Barry

Since July 2013 I have been fortunate to serve as the Assistant Superintendent for Business Services, and now Chief Financial Officer, of the Chandler Unified School District. Prior to that time, I spent thirteen years in Page, Arizona as District Business Manager for eleven years and two years as a high school teacher and boys’ basketball coach.

I am a graduate of Colorado State University and a Certified Public Accountant. I have served in many professional educational capacities in the state, including: Auditor General School Finance Advisory Committee, Board Member for Arizona Risk Retention Trust and past Arizona Association of Impact Aid Schools Secretary/Treasurer.

I am an active member of AASBO, ASA, and ASBA and serve as a leader for both EFRG and EQUIP. In addition I am a Board Member of both SOSA and the Kairos Health Insurance Pool.
I enjoy volunteering for my church, my children’s basketball, and baseball and softball teams and in our local PACs, as well as both Chandler Education Foundation and Queen Creek Education Foundation.

My husband, Queen Creek Unified School District Superintendent Dr. Perry Berry, and I have four children thriving in Arizona’s public school system. They also keep us running around the country to all of their sporting activities.
