Lucy Gross is a practicing social worker with over nine years of experience working with adults with disabilities. Along with Katie Stahl, Lucy opened SAGE Studio in 2017. She is also currently employed through AISD’s Go Project, a transitional program for special education students ages 18–22. Additionally, she works at The University of Texas in their inclusion program for adults with disabilities. Prior to working at AISD, Lucy taught at Arc of the Arts, where she developed adaptive art lessons, worked one-on-one with artists, and assisted in organizing art exhibits and fundraisers. Lucy also has experience working with individuals with disabilities as a sex education specialist at SafePlace and as job placement coach through Austin Travis County Integral Care. She earned her undergraduate degree at Emerson College and her masters of social work at Texas State University. She is passionate about integrating people with disabilities into the contemporary art scene in Austin.
