Kim Crowell
Kim Crowell is the Associate Museum Educator and Accessibility Coordinator at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas, where she creates programming for visitors with disabilities and works across departments to make the museum more accessible in general. Crowell has a B.F.A. in Studio Art with a focus in drawing and painting from Columbus State University, and she recently joined the Crystal Bridges team after completing an M.A. in Museum Studies at the University of Florida. The focus of Crowell’s graduate research at the University of Florida was to identify ways to make museums more accessible for visitors with disabilities, and she is particularly passionate about creating programming for visitors with all levels of sight. Crowell has spearheaded the development of multisensory tour materials at the Columbus Museum in Georgia and the Harn Museum of Art in Florida, and she continues her research with this topic at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
