Crystal Harden-Lindsey

Since 2012, Crystal Harden-Lindsey has served as principal of Green Street Academy, a non-profit charter school serving middle and high school students in West Baltimore.
In operation since 2010, Green Street emphasizes comprehensive career-readiness as well as traditional academic success. In addition to their academic coursework, students participate in entry-level project-based learning and build entrepreneurial skills.
Principal Harden-Lindsey promotes an overall culture of success and inclusivity at Green Street. In 2017, she was one of 5 Baltimore principals, out of hundreds of nominees, honored with Heart of the School Award from the Fund for Educational Excellence in partnership with Baltimore City Schools and the local community.
