Sophie Shrand

Science With Sophie is an award-winning science comedy series for girls and everyone. Created by science educator/actor/comedian Sophie Shrand, the cast of characters - all played by Sophie - invite viewers to be smart, curious, funny, brave scientists every day. The show's mission is to include everyone in the solution of creating gender equity through the lens of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math). Science With Sophie was named Best Children's Series by the International Academy of Web Television.

Sophie is a 2018 Camelback Ventures fellow with degrees in Neuroscience and Theatre from Northeastern University, Boston and training from the Second City Conservatory, Chicago. Forbes 30 Under 30 Finalist (age cutoffs are rough). Press includes Nat Geo, A Plus, EdSurge, Scholastic, Goldie Blox, and Girls Who Code. Sophie has been called "The Next Bill Nye" by Inverse.
