Antonio Tijerino

Jose Antonio Tijerino is president and CEO of the Hispanic Heritage Foundation which focuses on education, workforce development, connectivity, innovative leadership, and promotes Latino cultural pride and accomplishment. Tijerino has been honored with the prestigious Ohtli Award, which is the highest recognition by the Government of Mexico outside of Mexico, the Lifetime Achievement Award by National PTA, the Vision Award by Silicon Valley Latino Leadership, and more. Tijerino serves on various boards, including Harvard’s Latino Leadership Initiative at the Kennedy School. Tijerino is a national voice on Latino issues including at Fortune 500 Co., US Congress, and The White House. At HFF, Tijerino has also spearheaded initiatives to get kids from underserved populations access to computer science programs by launching projects including a Video Game Innovation fellowship and Code as a Second Language, and he was the recipient of the "Champion of Digital Equality Award."
