Toni Barton

Toni Barton is the Associate Dean of Special Education Leadership at Relay Graduate School of Education. Toni led the launch of the inaugural cohort of Relay’s National Special Education Leadership Academy that included 20 charter and district school networks from all across the country. Toni is a former principal and charter network director who started her career as a special education teacher in Washington, D.C. Toni is the founder of SpELLigent, an organization founded on the premise that students, teachers, and families deserve teachers and leaders with the knowledge and expertise needed to drive achievement and equity for exceptional learners.
