Chanda Harris

Chanda Harris is an Exceptional Student Education Coordinator for Henry County Schools. She has served in the education system for 19 years, filling multiple roles that serve students with disabilities. Currently, she coordinates the following programs: preschool special needs, deaf/hard of hearing, vision impaired, occupational therapy, hospital-homebound, assistive technology, personalized learning for SWDs, and home school/ private school. Mrs. Harris assists the 51 district schools with needs related to students with disabilities, and trains district and regional administration on topics related to students with disabilities. She is heavily involved with the district personalized learning plan and has been a key voice as schools launch PL cohorts. Mrs. Harris holds a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and an Educational Specialist in Instructional Technology and Educational Leadership. She resides south of metro Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and four children.
