With 20 years of experience driving meaningful change throughout the education sector, Theodore advocates for educational justice - always aiming to enhance students' right to flourish in the interconnected civic, academic, and digital realms. He is the Data Privacy Officer for the Howard County Public School System, co-chairs the Future of Privacy Forum’s National School Privacy Leaders’ Network, sits on the SXSWedu advisory board, speaks throughout the county, is a published scholar, and has extensive HS teaching experience. As a HS teacher in LA, he worked with First Gen Latinx students to create systemic changes that significantly increased the number of students admitted to colleges and universities. Theodore is also a PhD candidate at the University of Maryland, earned an MA and MEd from the Claremont Colleges, and holds a BA from Columbia University - where he was an NCAA Division I Varsity Wrestler.
