Amber Briggle
Amber Briggle is a self-described “mama bear” of a transgender child, and an advocate for LGBTQ rights. She is the national co-chair of the Parents for Transgender Equality, an invitation she received from the Human Rights Campaign after her family hosted Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton for dinner, in an effort to bring more visibility and understanding to trans-inclusive families like hers. Amber is also a board trustee for the League of Women Voters of Texas, and was nominated as “Texan of the Year” by the Dallas Morning News in 2016. She is married to Adam, has two kids, and lives in a messy house in Texas full of rescue animals and love.
