Dennis Gonzalez

Dennis Gonzalez is the Director of Leadership Programs at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. He oversees the Congressional Internship Program (CIP) as well as the R2L NextGen High School immersion program. Before joining CHCI, he served as the Director of Partnerships at Voto Latino where he organized and managed Voto Latino’s Power Summit conferences as well as other leadership development initiatives. Dennis also worked with the GEAR UP program at the University of Texas San Antonio and in social justice and diversity education at the University of Texas at Austin. In California, Dennis worked with the GEAR UP program as well as in the College of Engineering at University of California, Davis.
