Maria Alvarez

Mrs. Alvarez is an expert on media, technology and Latino families. For more than a decade, her career has been focused on the media and tech needs and interests of lower-income and immigrants families in the United States. She is the Vice President of Common Sense Latino, part of Common Sense Media, the leading national non-profit dedicated to providing resources for parents, educators and advocates. She is the proud mom of two bilingual and bicultural boys, ages 6 and 11 and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area in California with her kids and husband.
