Jennifer Zuk

Jennifer Zuk earned her PhD at Harvard University in the program in Speech and Hearing Bioscience and Technology, and is also working towards clinical certification in speech-language pathology through the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Jennifer received dual degrees in Music Education and Cognitive Science from Case Western Reserve University, and her Ed.M. in Mind, Brain, and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her research, supervised primarily by Dr. Nadine Gaab at Boston Children’s Hospital, examines how musical experience is associated with speech, language, and reading abilities. Her work employs behavioral and neuroimaging methods with young children from infancy to school age in order to investigate brain and behavioral correlates of these associations throughout child development.
