Touchable Paintings: Bridging Access & Images
How can educators create multisensory materials that are accessible for people with all levels of sight without spending a fortune? In this session, educators will learn about methods for creating "touchable paintings," which are tactile mixed-media representations that function like maps of 2-Dimensional images. Participants will create their own small touchable paintings and discuss how their organizations can use multisensory materials to make their programs and classes more accessible.
