In a rush to design and launch a new school model or program, innovators often fail to sufficiently engage families and communities. This represents a missed opportunity, both in terms of designing a model that truly meets the needs of the community, and investing the community in the long-term success of that model. In this workshop, participants will learn about TNTP’s community-centered design process, work in small groups to apply what they’ve learned, and walk away with tools and resources.
