Integrated, comprehensive, and culturally responsive social and emotional learning (SEL) is a critical component for early childhood education. However, understanding the need for SEL instruction and implementing evidence-based practices present two entirely different challenges. In this panel, we will explore SEL for early learners from varying perspectives, with panelists who will share insights and practical advice learned from decades of student empowerment.
