Going Digital: The Future of the K-12 Library

As tech becomes more integrated into classrooms and learning, it’s critical for digital literacy to be part of K-12 education. To meet this need, the role of the modern K-12 library has evolved to include the curation and dissemination of vetted edtech in addition to traditional resources. This session explores the district-wide library learning commons initiative of the Tiguard Tualatin School District, which transformed their libraries from fixed locations of books to a blend of resources.
