In our current political climate, there is a generation of young people that have things they want to say and a voice that needs to be heard. Integrating social justice into arts education helps to cultivate a generation of engaged citizens and inspiring artists. This meet up will be a time for artists, educators, and social justice advocates to come together and discuss how to best implement a social justice pedagogical approach to arts and media education.
