We have a gift for you, and we found it in our inclusive makerspaces. Three teachers serving a wide range of special needs students in a mainstreamed makerspace share stories and take questions in a panel celebrating the challenges and joys that come from an inclusive makerspace. Bring your biases, but prepare to be surprised as these teachers share stories of transformation—of students and schools. From STEAM to SEL, cooperative learning and peer-to-peer, we all learn more together.
