Museums & Accessibility: Planning a Field Trip
Open the doors of a local museum to your special needs students! Experienced museum educators walk you through crafts, activities, and resources that will help your students best enjoy an educational field trip personalized for their needs, whether they are low-vision, hard of hearing, or on the autism spectrum. We will discuss how to assess whether an institution is a good fit for your group and learning objectives as well as what steps you need to take to make the field trip a success.
