Students writing novels? In 30 days? Insane? Yep, but totally possible! This session guides teachers through the wild and rewarding process of helping students write full-fledged, 10,000+ word novels in just 1 month. Inspired by National Novel Writing Month, this workshop will give teachers hands-on tools to take into their classrooms. Based on 6 years of implementing this whirlwind unit, I will share all the pitfalls & triumphs-covering planning, editing, publishing, & hosting a public reading.
