Sarah Groh
Sarah Groh is the Director of Advocacy for the America Forward coalition. America Forward is the Washington, DC-based nonpartisan policy initiative of national venture philanthropy fund New Profit. America Forward’s mission is to unite leading community organizations with policymakers to advance a public policy agenda that champions innovative and effective solutions to our country’s most pressing social problems. Groh leads the coalition’s federal and state K12 and early childhood education work. Groh's prior experience includes leading state-wide housing and education advocacy efforts as Policy & Advocacy Manager at Horizons for Homeless Children, consulting engagements with the MA Joint Committee on Education and the Boston City Council as well as multiple election cycles as a campaign staffer. Groh has a Master’s in Education Policy & Management from Harvard and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services & Global Studies from Lesley College.
