Kevin Jones

Kevin C. Jones, Ph.D., is the Director of Strategic Planning and Assessment at Polk State College, where his duties include leading institutional research and effectiveness efforts, chairing the college’s Institutional Review Board, and maintaining regional accreditation through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). He provides substantial input into the development of objectives, policies, and priorities for the college, and broad levels of advice to senior administrative and academic leadership teams. He holds a doctorate in higher education from the University of Florida and has presented on assessment and evaluation at several national conferences.

His research areas include student veterans, academic and institutional evaluation and assessment, higher education administration and governance, higher education policy, and social media in the social science space.
