Carmen Strigel
Carmen Strigel is the Director of Technology for Education and Training at RTI International. Her work focuses on technology for building capacity, collaboration, and information-based decision-making. Carmen’s passion lies in teacher development and pedagogic integration of technology – also as assistive technology. At RTI she led the development of Tangerine®, open source software facilitating continuous student assessment and program monitoring deployed nationwide in Kenya. She spearheads development of CurrantMobileTM, game-based assessments of employability skills. Carmen does doctoral research in educational neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University.
