Stephen Child received his BFA from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia and an MFA in painting and drawing. His work combines collage, drawing, text, painting and digital imagery. He received his design/digital education at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Steve has worked as a designer and art director in a wide variety of creative areas including health care, entertainment, academic and nonprofit. He has worked at Dorlan+Sweeney Global Healthcare, Paramount Pictures, DZN the Design Group, 2G Studios, and BLT & Associates among many. He runs his own studio, as creative director of Steve Child Design. He continues to show his fine arts work, which is a combination of painting, drawing, collage and digital imagery. He recently won a public art project to design street banners for 3 neighborhoods in Long Beach. He was chosen as a mentor artist for LA Commons working with inner-city students to produce a community project that went up around the USC neighborhood.
