David Helene is founder and CEO of Edquity, a provider of college financial planning and success platforms for high-school and college students. Under his leadership, Edquity has worked with leading high schools, districts, and non-profit college access organizations and has been accepted to programs that include the Wells Fargo Startup Accelerator.
Previously, he served as a co-founder of UniFi Scholars, a non-profit provider of college financial planning education for low-income high school students, where he worked with over 300 students in less than 18 months of operation in partnership with organizations like KIPP. Before UniFi Scholars, David spent nearly 3 years at The Clearing House, a financial trade association representing the interests of the nation’s largest commercial banks. Named the youngest vice president in TCH’s history, he ultimately served as Chief of Staff, and worked directly with TCH’s president overseeing a variety of operational and advocacy initiatives.
