Under Campbell’s direction, LJFF began working on the dropout crisis facing the Akron community and launched its “I PROMISE” program targeting third graders and providing them with the resources, support and mentors they need for success in school and beyond. This life-changing program will culminate in its own Akron public school, the I PROMISE School, opening in Fall 2018.
