Robyne Garrett
Robyne Garrett PhD is a Senior Lecturer in physical education, dance and teaching methodologies in the School of Education at the University of South Australia. Her research interests include, creative and body-based pedagogies, gender, critical pedagogies for social justice, dance and alternative movement approaches. Current projects include creative and body-based learning for Aboriginal and disadvantaged students, refugee experience of education and whiteness studies. Her research methodologies include narrative storytelling, participatory action research and ethnographic approaches. Teaching roles focus on supporting student teachers to develop and implement critical, creative and embodied pedagogies.
