Laura Abondano

Laura Abondano is a Colombian Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Anthropology at UT-Austin. As part of her research with wild primates in Colombia and Ecuador, she has developed environmental education workshops for local communities and study abroad students with the aim of raising awareness on the importance of conserving biodiversity.
