Diego Javier Alberti
Artist, teacher and software developer. He studied Sound and Image Design, and then Graphic Design at the School of Architecture, Design and Landscaping, University of Buenos Aires. Interactive installations, video, electronic music, performing arts and video game development are some of the formats that allow Alberti to showcase his creative universe. He worked as a researcher in Tangible project, exploring tangible interfaces and virtual reality, in the National University Institute of Art (IUNA), Argentina. Co-Founder of NoninoAlbertiMediaLab, Diego is advancing his career as an artist while also creating tech devices for other artists who seek to delve into interactive formats. He currently teaches at Electronic Arts Master, University of Tres de Febrero (UNTREF), Introduction to Informatics at Mauricio Kagel Institute for the Arts, University of San Martín, and leads the Electronic Arts Lab at Universidad Maimonides. His work has been showcased at Rosario Fine Art Museum Juan B. Castagnino at Rosario, MBA/MAC Contemporary Art Museum at Bahia Blanca, Recoleta Cultural Center, San Martín Cultural Center, Spain Cultural Center at Buenos Aires, medialabPrado Madrid and FILE Festival of San Pablo.
